The Twelve Gifts of the
Holy Spirit
In his letters to the Corinthians,
the apostle Paul lists some of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He says,
“For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another
the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same
Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another
the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning
of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation
of tongues.”
There are actually twelve gifts
of the Holy Spirit. The more we unfold our spiritual nature and mission,
the more these gifts are gradually bestowed upon us by our own higher
self and by specific masters in the heaven-world.
The first gift of the
Holy Spirit is the Word of Wisdom under the Master Morya. It
allows us to anchor the power of God through our crown chakra. The Word
of Wisdom is the ability to cognize and capture the higher wisdom of
the Christ consciousness, to comprehend a higher dimension. This gift
comes through the impersonal impersonality of God the Father to edify
our soul and the souls of all whom we will contact.
To receive this gift and unfold
this ability, we can call to El Morya to help us to anchor this gift
through the direction of our own higher self, which is the Mighty I
AM Presence and Holy Christ Self, according to God’s will.

The second gift of the
Holy Spirit is the gift of Diverse Kinds of Tongues under the
Lady Master Nada. It has to do with being able to unfold a greater level
of love through the seat-of-the-soul chakra, where our soul resides
most of the time. Having the gift of diverse kinds of tongues really
means to be able to speak in all of the languages of the soul. When
you speak to a person’s soul, you can speak in Greek. Latin, English
or in any language because the soul knows all languages. You are speaking
with an intent and a vibration of love.
Our personality is the aspect
of our being that interfaces with the world and determines how much
we will expand God’s consciousness. It is not permanent, and we
gain a new personality in each subsequent lifetime. Our soul is the
aspect of ourselves that is destined to become one with God and that
becomes eternal, through correct, free will choices made by our personality.
That is why the soul’s welfare must come first.
Lady Master Nada became the steward
of this gift of the Holy Spirit because she learned how to promote her
soul and the souls of the people around her, over their personality’s
agenda. When we speak to another person’s soul first, we may run
the risk of offending their personality and we have to be able to face
that fear of perhaps being rejected. We must also avoid engaging in
a competition with the another person’s personality. When we first
care for the soul, our vibration changes. When there is no competition
between personalities, we notice a difference in the tone and timber
of our voice.
Lady Master Nada will help us
to receive the gift of diverse kinds of tongues, and we can call to
her to help us shepherd our soul and the souls of others. We can ask
her to help us to respect our personality and the personality of others,
without competition, idolatry or self-idolatry.

The third gift of the
Holy Spirit is the Word of Knowledge under Lord Lanto. This
gift helps us to gain self-mastery in God through the solar plexus chakra.
The word of knowledge is to be
able to take the divine wisdom we have received and put that wisdom
into action in the physical-matter universe. We can call to Lanto to
send us all the light, love and illumination that we need to receive
the Word of Knowledge, and to help seal our solar plexus with the Great
Sun Disc.

The fourth gift of the
Holy Spirit is the Discerning of Spirits. This gift comes under
the aegis of Paul the Venetian and has to do with anchoring God-control
through the heart chakra, rather than ego-control. God-control is the
ability to stay grounded in the presence of imperfection, to be able
to find out what’s wrong with things, and what is offensive, without
becoming offended.
When we have God-control, we
do not let that which is imperfect steal from us the love that is between
the brethren. Lucifer fell on this line of God control. He turned the
failures he discerned into a one-upmanship, and chose competition over
love. He chose to be dominant and to have ego-control over God-control.
The gift of the Discerning of Spirits is to be able to find the aborning
Christ babe in the hearts of the brethren, in the face of offense or
imperfection, and to learn to expand that christ offering, no matter
how small. It has to do with understanding that what you put your attention
on increases, and what you put your love on expands. We can call to
Paul the Venetian to help us receive the discernment of spirits, and
to be able to give and receive both conditional and unconditional love
with the finesse and grace that he carries. We can ask him to help us
to expand love for the expansion of the Community of the Holy Spirit.
We can also ask him to help us to walk a path of sacrifice, surrender,
selflessness and service, and to anchor the God-control necessary to
stand, face and conquer our lesser self.

The fifth gift of the
Holy Spirit is the Working of Miracles. This gift falls under
the master Serapis Bey. It relates to being obedient to God’s
will, and what we discern as God’s will through our third eye.
The gift of the working of miracles is about coming to the place where
someone does something that was never been done before. A miracle fulfills
a scientifically precise process. First, through hope, we must envision
and pro-vision that which could be. We form an image in your third eye
and precipitate the outcome of that image through the love of the Divine
Mother.
The greatest miracle of all is
holding the immaculate concept for others and helping them in their
place of need, rather than holding the image of their failure. It is
about making an effort to do what is right even when we don’t
feel like it, rather than behave with foot-dragging and obstinacy. We
can call to Serapis Bey to grant to us the gift of the working of miracles
to the greatest extent that the law will allow. We can ask the master
to help us to have and bring hope to others, and to hold the immaculate
concept for each other. We can ask him to help us to precipitate that
place that we never believed we could arrive at, which is the place
of the ascension and the return home and the displacing the lesser self
and all misuses of the third eye.

The sixth gift of the
Holy Spirit is Faith in God’s Will. This is a gift of
divine wisdom that activates the throat chakra, where our power of self-expression
resides. The steward of this gift is El Morya. When all human wisdom
and knowledge fail us, and when our ability to get our point across
fails us and we cannot hold on to any hope, we must have faith in Gods
will. No matter how lost we are in the blizzard of our many past mistakes,
we must not get discouraged. We hold onto the hem of El Morya’s
garment and say, “Regardless of whatever difficulties are whirling
around me, I know there is a purpose and a reason for being. I will
fulfill my reason for being and have faith that God’s will is
active in my life.”
Theosophists Annie Bessant and
Charles Leadbeater were able to contact the Solar Logoi through clairvoyance.
The Solar Logoi are great divine beings. They explained to Bessant and
Leadbeater that even in their most grueling initiations, the Solar Logoi
hold fast to the thoughtform that, “The light shall overcome and
the darkness shall not prevail.” The Solar Logoi asked Bessant
and Leadbeater to affirm this statement of prayer, which is statement
of faith in God’s will.
To receive this gift of faith
in God’s Will, we can call to El Morya as the chohan of God’s
will, to help us to be able to stand and deliver on that line of the
throat chakra, so that we can make statements of faith in God’s
will. We can ask the master to help us to stand against all miasma and
contextual cues of this world that are illusory, and to know that in
spite of all appearances, the light will always overcome and the darkness
will not prevail.

The seventh gift of the
Holy Spirit is Healing. For healing to take place, we must
maintain a certain amount of spiritual harmony. Through harmony, we
also become able to manifest more financial abundance. The master Hilarion,
who was embodied as the apostle Paul, helps us to expand the gift of
healing, which relates to the base-of-the-spine chakra. The base-of-the-spine
is where the energy of the Kundalini resides. As it rises from the base
up the spinal altar, it rises up and over the head where it anchors
in the third eye, forming a shepherd’s crook. The Kundalini rising
is the symbol of the serpent, which is a hermetic and medical symbol.
The upraised serpent staff is also what the Israelites had to gaze at,
per Moses’ instruction, to be healed of their snake bites in the
wilderness.
We can call to Hilarion to bestow
upon us the gift of healing in accordance to our own mighty I AM Presence
and Holy Christ Self. We can ask him to help us to become masterful
of the energies of the Kundalini rising, so that we can become shepherds
of healing through the Mother Light, and restore abundance in our lives
and in the lives of others.

The eighth gift of the
Holy Spirit is the gift of the interpretation of tongues, also
under Lady Master Nada. It also relates to the seat-of-the-soul chakra,
and is a test of gratitude. The gift of the interpretation of tongues,
like the gift of the speaking in tongues, has to do with soul communication.
It has to do with being able to hear the needs of a person’s soul,
over the needs expressed by the personality. We can call to Lady Master
Nada to bestow upon us the gift of the interpretation of tongues, that
we might be able to hear the soul, and the calls and cries of the soul,
and then be able to liberate that soul in accordance with that soul’s
own Mighty I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self.

The ninth gift of the
Holy Spirit is the gift of prophecy under the master Saint Germain.
It relates to the solar-plexus chakra and our ability to overcome
any sense of injustice. The gift of prophecy comes to us when we are
able to lift up our consciousness through intuition to that place where
we can remember from the future. In the K.H. Letters by Leadbeater,
the master Kuthumi defines intuition as knowing or remembering something
from the future. This knowing becomes a prophecy and is brought forth
as a way for people to make a free will choice about what is coming
upon them. Prophecies helps people become aware of what is imminent
when their human minds and personalities are not able to determine what
lies around the corner.
We need to be able to deliver
prophecies in such a way that those prophecies have an impact where
the soul can hear the warning. When a prophecy has an impact, it stops
the constant grinding of a person’s solar plexus chakra that happens
in a counter-clockwise motion and fuels the person’s lesser self.
In that moment of prophecy, the person’s not self becomes frozen
like a deer in the headlights, so the soul and personality can receive
the message. Not all prophecies are heeded, but they are given so they
can be overcome. They are warnings for circumstances that can yet be
transcended.
We call to the master Saint Germain,
who is the spiritual hierarch for the age of Aquarius, to give us this
gift, as well as to his twin flame, the Lady Master Portia. We ask them
to help us to have that far-sightedness and to see what is coming, and
most especially the coming of our own Christhood. We consecrate the
receiving of this gift to help usher in a golden age, Aquarian consciousness,
that departs from the competitive, bullying world. We also ask these
masters to help us to stand in that point of justice and overcome all
of the seeming injustice of our descending negative karma.

The tenth gift of the
Holy Spirit brings a sense of divine reality into our lives. It is the
gift of the balanced threefold flame within the heart chakra,
that is brought to us by the Maha Chohan. The threefold flame is the
divine flame of love, wisdom and power in our heart. When that flame
is in balance, we have a balanced expression of divine love, wisdom
and power in our lives, which is the consciousness of the Christ. The
gift of the balanced threefold flame relates to the gift of discerning
of spirits. Both involve the heart. When we have discernment of spirits,
what we are really discerning are the spirits of love, wisdom and power
in our own hearts and in the hearts of others. When we have the gift
of the balanced threefold flame, we do not find that place of imbalance
in someone and then capitalize on that imbalance like Lucifer did. Instead,
we become our brother’s keeper. We help others come into balance,
like the master Jesus did, and we do not get out of balance with other
people who may be out of balance themselves.
We can call to the Maha Chohan
to grant us the gift of the balanced threefold flame as that potential
of christhood and God-reality sown in each one’s consciousness.
We can ask him to help us to become an anchor and a lodestone for the
Holy Spirit and be able to multiply that balanced expression of divine
love, wisdom and power in our larger communities.

The eleventh gift of the
Holy Spirit anchors divine vision through the third eye. It is the gift
of free will, which is also bestowed by the Maha Chohan. Even
though we technically all have free will, we do not really have free
will, because we often function through automatic coping mechanisms
coming from subconscious and unconscious programming, that work with
our lesser self to get us off track. Having the gift of free will means
to no longer abide within the duality of our psychodrama of superiority/inferiority
complexes and prefabricated inherited scripts, beliefs and concepts.
It means that we no longer function on automatic pilot but really make
the choice of who we are going to be, and how we are going to respond
outside of the contextual framework that we have been used to operating
in.
We can call to the Maha Chohan
to prepare us for the gift of free will by helping us to stand, face
and conquer the forces of anti-will within our psychodrama, and by helping
us to step up out of the identity that our psychodrama gave. We can
ask the master to help us fully unfold the capacity of our third eye
to become aligned with the all-seeing eye of God, in order to know when
we are in a place of true free will.

The twelfth gift of the
Holy Spirit is all about achieving a spiritual victory in God. It is
the gift of all power in heaven and earth that the Maha Chohan
prepares us for. Because it is a gift of power, it relates to the throat
chakra, which is our power center. The gift of all power in heaven and
earth may seem a bit intimidating. The way to approach it is to understand
that we already have powers in heaven and in earth, and that if we can
have some, then in time, we can have them all. We must not lust after
these powers but nevertheless, press on.
When this gift is bestowed upon
an individual, like it was for Jesus, that individual can say, “Get
thee hence,” to Satan or move mountains or turn stones into bread,
if that is God’s will. The proper use of this gift is to use it
to bring the Kingdom of God, meaning the consciousness of God, on earth
as it is in heaven, so that everything becomes an expression of divine
will. we must not use this gift, or any of the gifts of the Holy Spirit
to satisfy the curiosity of the devil within or without. We can ask
the Maha Chohan to coach us in this process, so that these siddhis become
more and more available to us with the proper light and focus. We can
also ask the Maha Chohan to help us to integrate every facet of each
of these twelve gifts, according to the will and direction of our own
Mighty I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self.
The most important thing to remember
is that we are already manifesting gifts of the Holy Spirit, even if
we have not acknowledged or owned them, and even if we have not reached
yet their fullest manifestation. Our job is to now start owning these
gifts without lusting for human power over others. We need to be able
to recognize the miracles in our lives, as well as when we were able
to minister to someone and hear their soul, without letting it “get
to our head” from an egotistical standpoint. The greatest danger
that lies before us is the imperious craving to inspire astonishment
and admiration.
Yes, the Holy Spirit does visit
us and is looking for a way to work through us, in order to build the
community of the Holy Spirit. Even so, let us remember that receiving
these gifts is a very sacred trust that God places into our hands and
lives, and we must be adult about how we use them. We don’t want
to become afraid and bury our talents. Let us venture forth with a sense
of sacredness and understanding that God wants us to have these gifts
so that we can bless others and raise them to that place where they
can also have them.
First, we become as a little
child to enter into the kingdom, which is the consciousness of God,
whereby we receive the gifts. Then, we become adult with the ramifications
of their use. We become mature wielders of these gifts, and we understand
that a lot is depending on us. With the full anointing of the Holy spirit,
we can help even millions of soul and children of God who are counting
on us to light the way home.
